Wasting no time, BMW has announced that passengers will have their cars compatible with the new iPhone. The new Apple super toy works with this brand of cars equipped with BMW Assist and Bluetooth connectivity. Besides the "radio" in the iPhone integrates with the iDrive display in the following cars that have installed the iPod interface / BMW USB:BMW Series produced from 3 March 2007
BMW 5 Series built since March 2007
BMW X5 manufactured since April 2007
BMW 6 series manufactured since September 2007
The system has been tested in a BMW 328Xi with only one week of use, making the integration of the iPhone with the car BMW as "fully functional"
