It’s time to welcome the newest supercar that goes under the name of Ferrari FXX Evoluzione. We all know that the Ferrari FXX was one of the best racing cars that Ferrari ever created and know they have improved on it and given it more power and have made it easier to drive.
For those who need refreshing the original FXX was first created as a mobile test bed for future Ferraris - that would go to 30 wealthy owners being given the opportunity to them. Sadly none of the limited model run have ever been made road legal.
Based on the Enzo, the FXX Evoluzione enjoys enhanced performance figures of 860bhp, and a 6.2-litre V12 engine that’ll rev to 9,500rpm. Under the carbon fibre skin is a modified version of the existing 6.3-litre V12 that now churns out 848bhp - 50bhp more than the original. This is connected to a gearbox that has had its shift times reduced from 80 to 60 milliseconds.
To keep the Ferrari on the road the rear spolier and underbody diffuser were modified to give it more downforce. At the front revised suspension geometery gives the Evoluzione even sharper steering, while the carbon ceramic brakes now last twice as long.
Unfortunately not everyone can get a chance to get behind the wheel of this bad boy. It was created only for the track which means that unless you are an engineer for Ferrari or apart of the FXX program work all you can do it look. The few who did get a chance to test drive it were the filthy rich Ferrari enthusiasts who were invited and only about 20 of them were.
